If you are having trouble deciding what to read this summer here are some ideas to help you.

Sometimes it is difficult to find a book you like that is at the appropriate reading level for you. Synthia is lucky to have Jaba to help her.
Watch this for hints and reminders for finding good reading choices.

1. Make sure the book you choose in by an author or written about a subject that interests you.
2. You may want to read reviews on the book my others who have read the book.
3. Be sure that the book is not too easy or difficult for you.
Quick Test for Finding Appropriate Reading
a. Read a single page from the book.
b. If there are more than five words per page that you do not understand or are new to you, the book it probably too difficult.
c. If there are no new or difficult words on the page, then the material is too easy for you.
